Frequently asked questions
I cancelled my subscription but I’m still being charged.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — not by ForgeFlex directly. To cancel:
iPhone: Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → ForgeFlex → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Play Store app → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ForgeFlex → Cancel subscription.
Cancelling stops auto-renewal. You retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for Play Store purchases are handled by Google through your Play Store order history. ForgeFlex cannot issue refunds directly, but we’ll happily provide context to Apple or Google if you ask.
I lost my data after reinstalling.
Your data is synced to your account, not your device. Sign in with the same account you used originally and your workouts, programs, and history will reappear. If you signed up with Apple Sign-In, use the same Apple ID. If you used email, use the same email.
The app crashes on workout finish.
If this happens, send us your device model, iOS or Android version, and the day this started occurring. We use Sentry to capture crashes, so even if you don’t send a report, we’ll usually see it within hours. Workout data is saved locally before the finish step, so you won’t lose your session even if the app crashes mid-save.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email privacy@forgeflex.app and we’ll send you a JSON export of your account data within seven days. A self-service export feature is on the v1.1 roadmap.
How do I delete my account?
In-app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This deletes all your workout history, recovery logs, profile, and personal data within 30 days. Subscription records are retained for the legally required accounting window. Premium subscriptions are not automatically cancelled when you delete your account — cancel through Apple or Google first to stop billing.
I bought the Lifetime Founder tier. What does that include?
Lifetime Founder includes Premium access for the operational lifetime of the ForgeFlex app, including all future v1.x updates and program additions. You also receive your founder cohort number — a permanent marker that you were one of the first 1,000 supporters. Lifetime Founder is non-refundable except where required by law. See our Terms of Service for the full conditions.
The recommended weight feels wrong.
ForgeFlex’s progressive overload engine looks at your last few sessions, your reported RPE (rate of perceived exertion), and your recovery scores. If a suggestion feels off, you can override it — the engine learns from the override and adjusts future suggestions. If you’re consistently getting recommendations that feel too easy or too hard, check that you’re logging RPE honestly. Garbage in, garbage out.
Is there a desktop or web version?
Not in v1.0. The app is iOS and Android only. A web companion is being considered for v1.x but is not on a specific roadmap.
I’m a coach. Can I use ForgeFlex with my clients?
Not in v1.0. ForgeFlex is currently designed for individual use. Multi-user coach tools are being explored for a future version. Email us if you’d like to be on the early-access list when this ships.
Will my data sync across devices?
Yes, between phones signed into the same account. Single-device usage is the default — multi-device simultaneous use works but isn’t the primary supported configuration. If you switch phones, sign in with the same account and your data follows you.

ForgeFlex is not medical advice. The program recommendations, exercise prescriptions, mobility flows, and recovery suggestions in ForgeFlex are general fitness guidance, not a substitute for medical or physical therapy advice.
